Caraculo Photovoltaic Power Plant Supplies the National Grid
The Caraculo Photovoltaic Power Plant, located in Namibe, has reached a peak production of 25 MW, strengthening Angola’s national electrification efforts.
With this new capacity, the energy generated is no longer limited to the southern region and is now being injected into the national grid, expanding access to clean electricity for more families.
The project, with a total planned capacity of 50 MWp, contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and diesel consumption. Currently advancing into its second phase, Caraculo stands as a strategic initiative supporting the diversification of Angola’s energy matrix
